Joe Versus the Volcano, loved it and have watched it every year since first seeing it on TV in a hotel room while on vacation. Its the story of the triumph of the human spirit over the shackles of the ridiculous state of the world. Meg Ryan playing three characters two in split screen with very different personalities.
Lloyd Bridges ridiculous caricature of a Hughes like personality and his need for the mineral "bubaru".
Ever since I saw this movie I always wanted water tight steamer trunks for a my suitcases (never had one though).
